Everyone needs an estate plan. However, finding the right time or motivation can sometimes seem overwhelming. We understand discussing estate planning — death and money — is a daunting task. People are confused and struggle to find accurate information. They are overcome with emotions when contemplating their potential incapacity, disability and death and the family and friends they will leave behind.
However, people do know, if they don’t plan, the State of California will be unnecessarily involved, often causing additional delays and expenses, while not protecting their assets, minimizing estate taxes, and preserving their wealth for their friends, family and charities they want to provide for.
